Hypnobirthing (free demo session)

A new round of Hypnobirthing classes will be starting shortly at Wellforce.

Birth can be one of the most wonderful experiences in Life. Hypnobirthing using the easibirthing method aims to empower you to not fear the process but to manage it.

The course consists of five sessions of 90 minutes each. During each session you will learn self-hypnosis, visualisation, breathing and relaxation techniques to enable you to trust your body and enter the birthing process calm, confident and in control. Partners are encouraged to take an active part and learn the techniques as well so that they can help you and enjoy being part of the birthing process.

Hypnobirthing is not an antenatal class but we do offer background information to help you understand how your body works during the birthing process.

Just some of the benefits to using the method are shorter labour times, less use of medication and a lower incidence of Post-Natal Depression. If you are interested in finding out about the course and the benefits of the Hypnobirthing please contact reception.

Training in Hypnobirthing is usually started in the third trimester, though if you wish to start learning a little before-hand or you are simply curious about what Hypnobirthing can offer when you are ready we welcome your enquiries and look forward to meeting you!
