Jane has lived in Sheffield since 1984, is a graduate of University of Sheffield and very committed to her adopted city. She has worked for the NHS in management and administration roles since 1990, including business planning, performance monitory, policy development and training, apart from a spell in the civil service between 1996 -2002 where she had a range of roles inlcuding capital planning, ministerial briefing and project management. Jane is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees for Community Action Halfway Home Ltd, a local mental health charity, where she has been a Trustee for 17 years. A very satisfied user of complementary and alternative treatments, including acupuncture and osteopathy, she is excited about potential opportunities of making treatments and therapy more widely accessible to people who have not been able to access them before.
