My approach to massage is a truly holistic and creative one. I don't follow routine but instead draw upon many styles and techniques to tailor each massage to the individual's requirements.
This enables me to use appropriate and varying depths and pressures to access all layers of muscle and tissue, relieving trapped areas of tension. Whilst combining passive joint mobilisations and stretches can leave my clients feeling freer with a greater sense of movement and wellbeing.
My interest in the mind-body connection began with training in dance, drama and singing at university. This led to an interest in Hakomi, a method of psychotherapy that incorporates mindfulness, the practice of loving presence and the therapeutic use of touch. I have since completed the Hakomi training with a view to practicing as a therapist in the future. These varied experiences allow me to approach my massage practice in a truly holistic and creative style.
