As a qualified nurse I specialised in mental health nursing. I became interested in the eastern healing arts during my nurse training and became a dedicated student of tai-chi chuan and meditation. I then completed a four year training course in Shiatsu and have since gone on to qualify in acupuncture.
I love shiatsu for its gentleness, grace and the inner peace that I feel during the session. I love its rhythmic movement and subtle changes - it's like a dance or like listening to some beautiful inspiring music. I love acupuncture for its clarity, speed and effacy and when the needles come alive in my fingers!
I enjoy being at Wellforce because as soon as I walk into the building I feel a sense of calm. When I walk into my room, I see the trees and the glow of the morning sun and a sense of contentment spreads through me. It is also a great team to be part of.
