Food Intolerance Testing

Gastrointestinal and digestive disorders are among the leading cause for people seeking medical help. Complaints experienced include cramps, abdominal pains, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea and trapped wind. The diagnosis of Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a frequent label for unexplained digestive complaints and often it is received with little practical help to combat symptoms or explanation given for the cause. If not managed correctly, digestive complaints can lead the way to more serious and chronic illness.

Food Allergies, Intolerances and Testing with our Nutritionist

When people first begin to experience digestive trouble, food allergies or food intolerances are the first suspect. Often food intolerances are a symptom not the cause! Seeking advice to help establish if a true intolerance or allergy exists is highly recommended. A holistic approach should be taken in order to get to the root cause of your health complaints.

Children’s Digestive Complaints

More and more children are experiencing digestive complaints and Coelic Disease. Ensuring the digestive health of children is vital to ensure they obtain vital nutrients required for development and growth. Digestive complaints have been linked to development of other health complaints such as allergies, eczema, fatigue. Gluten sensitivity in some children can be linked to other complaints such as autism.

Food Intolerance Testing with our Kinesiologist

In Kinesiology, we use “muscle testing” to individualise our nutrition. What is said to be ‘good food’ may not be good for an individual person at any particular time. This test will help you develop an awareness of your personal nutritional requirements and help you avoid foods which are not helpful.

We will identify ‘Biocidic’ foods that downgrade your energy, leaving you feeling tired, bloated, irritable, creating skin problems and an acidic condition in your body.

We will also identify ‘Biogenic’ foods that raise your energy level, improving your quality of life, your very own personal “Super foods”.

We will use different vials (very small glass jars) containing diluted foods, and place them individually on specific key points on the body. Using muscle resistance, the body will help us identify which of these foods represents a stressor to your system and weakens it. Under stress such as food sensitivity, our muscles will respond by weakening and during the test, you will be able to feel it yourself and understand how a food can affect you.

After the initial testing, you will have the option to desensitise your body from these foods using the kinesiology protocol called “Energy Mismatch”
