- Diploma in Crystal Healing
From an early age, I learned that life and health were precious.
Upon leaving school, I chose to train in general and then mental health nursing, setting out on my journey as a carer for others.
During my nursing career, my focus shifted towards a more spiritual and holistic approach to health and well-being.
As I progressed down this path, I immersed myself in the gentle beauty of Tai Chi, and the peace of deep meditation, and found my enduring passion – Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I went on to study Shiatsu, Acupuncture, Feng Shui, Chinese Astrology and Crystal healing. I have enjoyed a busy and successful practice in Sheffield over the past 15 years.
I have always felt that life is a journey, and that each stage of life is another important part of the road we travel, bringing with it unique challenges and opportunities to grow. Chinese medicine works with these cycles within daily life, and within the bigger context of our whole life, and helps us to live in harmony with our inner and outer cycles.
About Crystal Healing
Each crystal has unique qualities, which can be drawn upon to help balance energy within our homes, our workplaces and ourselves.
Crystal healing has been used for many years and provides a gentle, holistic way to restore harmony and enhance well-being.
Traditionally, a series of crystals are placed on each of the seven main Chakras to help cleanse and balance the energies within each chakra. I also like to use specific crystals on acupuncture points in order to combine the two systems, and deepen the effectiveness.
Crystal healing can also be a very effective when done from a distance, even if someone is in another country.
About Acupuncture and Shiatsu
Both Shiatsu and acupuncture work on the same principles – by gently encouraging energy within little streams within the body (called meridians) to flow more freely to help restore and maintain well-being. The only difference is that shiatsu is done fully clothed, and involves gentle pressure along the energy pathways, with some gentle stretching and movement of the arms and legs, whilst acupuncture uses fine needles inserted at specific points along the meridians.
Both Shiatsu and Acupuncture can gently help to restore balance within the body, and help improve wellbeing.
Dietary and exercise recommendations from a perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine will be given to help support the treatment.
I may also suggest the use of crystals, essential oils and Bach Flower remedies as an alternative to using needles, or for self-use at home to provide additional on-going support.
